The Aims of
Our School
As members of
God’s family we will strive to create a caring,
responsible, loving, Christian community in which all
children are helped to develop a closer relationship
with God and the community at large.
We believe
that children are unique and are equal to others
regardless of sex, nationality, colour, creed, class,
wealth or intellectual ability. We will endeavour to
teach all members of our school community to treat one
another with respect, to exercise good manners and work
co-operatively.
The school
will co-operate at all levels with the parents who are
the children’s first educators.
We will
strive to raise educational and moral standards in our
school. We will help each child reach his / her full
potential by providing a framework of high educational
standards. All children will be encouraged to develop a
sense of pride in their individual work and in the
collective work of the school.
Through
praise and encouragement and by celebration of each
child's individual achievements, their worth and value
will be recognised by the whole school community.
The school
will actively seek to promote and secure a safe happy
environment. The partnership formed between Home /
School / Parish and the wider community will help each
child develop an awareness of their social and moral
responsibilities. |
