encouraged to take care of others around them and their

Encouraging a love of learning by
praising success and effort. Ensuring
that the child has the opportunity to achieve his / her
full potential as a valued member of the school
community
Providing a broad and
balanced curriculum which addresses the individual needs
of the child
Setting high standards of
work and behaviour by building positive relationships
and encouraging responsibility
Building strong home /
school links through appropriate homework and written
reports
Informing parents of
children’s progress at regular meetings
The Family will

/ her learning by overseeing homework and other

Ensuring the child attends
regularly, on time, wears the agreed school uniform and
is properly equipped
Making the school aware of
any concerns or problems that might affect the child’s
work or behaviour
Attending parent
consultation evenings
